1 – 2 days work per month, this position will involve helping with administrative functions such as processing payroll, opening mail, responding to emails, managing finances, preparing VAT returns and general accounting.

The role will require you to attend our office in Penllergaer, Swansea to complete your duties and so access to a car would be beneficial, however travel by public transport is possible.

Experience is beneficial but not essential, you must have excellent communication skills, a good attention to detail, know your way around a spreadsheet and enjoy working with numbers.

You must be over 18 and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

We are urgently looking for a pool of staff to join our events team, working once every 1 – 2 weeks. Those who show themselves to be reliable will be given priority when work is available. Our larger events will require the full team. We hope to be in a position for full time staff in Summer 2022.

Work will be available both at events, and outside of events, for example when clearing down for the winter, packing for a remote event, or indeed working at a remote event. Shift lengths will range from 5 to 12 hours. We may also help other event companies and venues with staff from time to time and so additional work may also be available.

As part of our paid events team you will work at our events, and your duties may include:

  • Cleaning
  • Scanning Tickets
  • Serving Drinks
  • Manning the Cloakroom
  • General Event Assistance

You will need to be comfortable working in busy environments interacting directly with the public. All staff must be available for training prior to events which will be delivered by video and then in person at our venue.

Basic training will be provided and staff who work with us longer term can benefit from additional training and certifications including First Aid, Trauma Awareness Training, Fire Safety, Food Safety and more.

Your own transport would be beneficial but not essential.

You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license for this role.

We are looking for a reliable head door person as well as those who would like to be asked to work at our events. We prefer mixed gender teams and are looking for pro-active door supervisors. Our events include a number of temporary structures and an eye for health and safety is beneficial.

We operate a smile first policy at our events for all staff, which includes security. Having the right Door Supervisors and Stewards on site is essential to the success of our events, many of our visitors attend our events because they feel safer than in the city centre. We often receive compliments regarding our security staff and wish for this to continue. We like our door supervisors to be approachable, welcoming, subtle, helpful and competent. Your duties will primarily focus on attendee welfare and safety. Digital incident reporting tools are in use at our events and training will be provided for these.

Pay is dependent on your suitability for our events, your professionalism, reliability and relevant experience.

For smaller events you may also be asked to help in other areas such as Serving Drinks or Moving Equipment.

We often have the need for stewards to support our event organisers and security staff.

Your duties may include:

  • Welfare monitoring
  • Car Parking
  • Directing Traffic
  • Greeting Taxis
  • Answering Questions for Attendees
  • Moving Items

Although primarily away from our visitors, the kitchen is a very busy place during our events and you will need to be comfortable working under pressure. During the summer months the kitchen is primarily outdoors based in marquees and open air, during the winter months it is indoors.

For most events our food offerings are basic serving items such as burgers and pizza, however, we do occasionally receive private hire bookings for more adventurous meals where we hire temporary kitchen equipment.

We are looking for both those who can follow instructions, and those who can plan and give instruction. All staff must hold Food Safety Level 3, we can arrange for you to take this course upon a successful application – you must complete the course before you can work, the course takes roughly 3 hours to complete and we will pay for the course after your first shift..

The kitchen operates independently at events and a budget is allocated to be handled by those running the kitchen. Bonuses are available for effective money management, waste reduction and profitability.
